Day 168: Girl Sells Virginity To Help The Homeless

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2209828/Brazilian-student-sells-virginity-build-homes-poor.html

A Brazilian student is auctioning off her virginity to the highest bidder to raise cash to build homes for poverty-stricken families.
Imagine that you are a parent of a teenage girl. Now imagine that your daughter is a virgin. Now imagine that she is also a humanitarian-type person. Now imagine her sharing a bright new idea with you to make the world a better place. Imagine that this idea is for her to auction her virginity to the highest bidder so that she can build homes for the homeless. How does that make you feel?

Imagine being the parent of a prostitute, or a drug dealer, or a drive-thru worker, or a toilet cleaner - is that the life you want for your child? No? Well then that's weird - because this is the life that we are forcing onto billions of people. Yes, us - all of us.
In this day and age, there are fewer products that can be sold thanks to the wonders of sharing stuff on the internet. Books, music, movies, information, news - all of these industries are becoming unsellable - which means less jobs, which means less consumers, which means less profit, which means more firing and closures, which means less consumers........ The wonders of the internet is also giving us the opportunity to create a new system by providing us with a platform with which to educate ourselves.

We don't need to do the things that we do. We don't need to develop weird gadgets that essentially do nothing and break after 2 weeks. Last I checked, "job" wasn't in the description of "Things Required To Sustain Life" along with food, water, shelter, etc. The idea that we need to earn to live is all in our heads - it's just a silly idea that some joker came up with that got taken way too seriously by all the other knob-heads.

Seriously, look around: there is a girl selling her virginity because she just can't find any other way to help those who cannot help themselves. Why should we allow society to come to this point before looking around and realizing that something is very wrong here with the way that we live? Come on, people, are all the starving children and the beaten and broken animal photos on Facebook not enough? Have we not come far enough? Is it not past time to put an end to our collective madness?

You want to stop the rainforests from being destroyed? Stop the profit motivation. You want to stop the feed lots? Stop the profit motivation. You want to stop the drug cartels? Stop the profit motivation and make sure that no one is so hungry that they feel they have no other choice. You want to stop poverty? Learn to share. You want to stop zoo's and SeaWorld? Stop the profit motivation. You want to stop Rhinos getting their faces cut off while they're alive? Stop the profit motivation.

Investigate Equal Money.
